PALIN BACKS OBAMA AGAIN!

In a statement made on Sunday morning Palin agrees with Obama that we should be hunting Osama into Pakistan instead of ending the train in Iraq.

The McCain campaign has said she didn't really mean this and she shares his position on our military efforts.

"...sticking a microphone while conversations are being held, and then all of a sudden that's—that's a person's position… This is a free country, but I don't think most Americans think that that's a definitve policy statement made by Governor Palin."


Also, please note: We should not take anything a candidate SAYS seriously. What they write down in pamphlets and on their website is their TRUE policy, not what they straight talk off the cuff.

Wacky Economy & Crazy Preacher Week!

Here's an interesting article from over at Daily Kos. Seems like the video of Pastor Muthee has resurfaced after being scrubbed from the internet for so long. I guess he doesn't just ask God to make Palin Governor, but also for him to rip the wealth from the Israelites. WHAT!?

So Obama's preacher speaks the truth (sorry, but I take no issue with a black man saying the white man has done him wrong and that 9/11 was provoked) and the white media flips out. Palin's blessed by an anti-Semite & anti-pagan and that's okay? I'm really, really confused.

The "We Deserve It Dividend"

This makes a hell of a lot of sense. Lets face it, Voodoo economics has not worked. It's time to bail out the people, not the business that put us here.

THIS SOUNDS LIKE A GREAT PLAN TO ME. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Sounds crazy but sounds good.

The Birk Economic Recovery Plan We Deserve It Dividend

I am against the $85,000,000,000.00 bailout of AIG.
Instead, I am in favor of giving $85,000,000,000 to America in a We Deserve It Dividend.

To make the math simple, let's assume there are 200,000,000 bonafide U.S. Citizens 18+. Our population is about 301,000,000 +/- counting
every man, woman and child.
So, 200,000,000 might be a fair stab at adults 18 and up.
So divide 200 million adults 18+ into $85 billon that equals $425,000.00.
My plan is to give $425,000 to every person 18+ as a We Deserve It Dividend.
Of course, it would NOT be tax-free.
So let's assume a tax rate of 30%.

Every individual 18+ has to pay $127,500.00 in taxes.
That sends $25,500,000,000 right back to Uncle Sam.
But, it means that every adult 18+ has $297,500.00 in their pocket.
A husband and wife have $595,000.00.
What would you do with $297,500.00 to $595,000.00 in your family?


* Pay off your mortgage - housing crisis solved.
* Repay college loans - what a great boost to new grads.
* Put away money for college - it'll be there.
* Save in a bank - create money to loan to entrepreneurs.
* Buy a new car.
* Create jobs.
* Invest in the market - capital drives growth.
* Pay for your parent's medical insurance - health care improves.
* Enable Deadbeat Dads to come clean - or else.

Remember this is for every adult U S Citizen 18+ including the folks who lost their jobs at Lehman Brothers and every other company that is cutting back. And of course, for those serving in our Armed Forces.

If we are going to re-distribute wealth let's really do it...instead
of trickling out a puny $1000.00 ("vote buy") economic incentive that
is being proposed by one of our candidates for President.
If we are going to do an $85 billion bailout, let's bail out ever y adult U S
Citizen 18+!

As for AIG - liquidate it. Sell off its parts.
Let American General go back to being American General.
Sell off the real estate.
Let the private sector bargain hunters cut it up and clean it up.

Here is my rationale.
We deserve it and AIG doesn't.
Sure it's a crazy idea that can "never work."
But, can you imagine the Coast-To-Coast Block Party!
How do you spell Economic Boom?

I trust my fellow adult Americans to know how to use the $85 Billion
We Deserve It Dividend more than the geniuses at AIG or in Washington DC.

And remember, The Birk plan only really costs $59.5
Billion because $25.5 Billion is returned instantly in taxes to Uncle Sam.
Ahhh...I feel so much better getting that off my chest.

We are not attacking Bristol Palin, I actually applaud her for choosing to keep the child. We're saying that the Republicans (the party of family values) have no right to attack Jamie Lynn Spears or any of the countless other teens who have stories like Bristols. It's the hypocrisy not the "crime" that is important.

Everyone is making early preparations. Obama is "forgoing lawn signs", telling recruiters to focus their energy going door to door to get those last few converts, McCain is lying his head off, and George W. Bush is bringing some of the troops home!

Palin is pro-Obama!

Palin has told the country that one of the things she wants to do as vice-president is to create a website that allows the American Public to search and track Government spending. Just one small catch. It was already created by Senator Tom Coburn and some guy from Illinois.

Maybe she thinks that the media is being biased against Obama and is upset that they have not talked about this new website. Since her party is repetitively trying to soundbite Obamas's achievements into oblivion, I think she lies in order to call attention to everything that Obama HAS done in Washington.

He's done so much already, she must be exhilarated about all the amazing things he'll do when he's in the oval office. He's going to cut taxes like crazy and change the oval office carpet back!

God Bless America!

I'm a little off my a-game today, so think of this as a rant.


I have a hard fight in my system when I have to choose between being a Republican and a Democrat. There's no fight as to whether I'm liberal (but that's between me, Jesus, J. J. Rousseau and Thomas Jefferson).

The government should be more favorable towards SMALL business, state's rights, minimal taxes, freedom of speech, teaching OF religion and prayer in school and allowing all non-essentials to be privatized.

BUT we have these unalienable rights that are apart of existence.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men* are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That whenever any form of government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness.

This ensures health care for all, means to live for all, a right to privacy, and freedom of expression. I put PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION in the unalienable rights category as it feeds into a pursuit of happiness, since without it (due to urban sprawl) people are unable to go to work.

"Where is all of this heading?" you might ask. Well stick with me, my story gets better. APPARENTLY some Republicans have FINALLY realized just how the lines between "Little Government" and "Big Business" have begun to blur. This $700 Billion dollar bail-out of Wall Street is disgusting and I don't understand how it can be stomached. How many small businesses fail in a year and how many of them are left to languish? But when big business messes up big time, it falls on the tax payer to overtax themselves to save companies that are no longer needed by the people. The government has NO right to bail out the stock market. It may run counter to those CEO's pursuit of happiness, but a better solution can be solved than taking away everyone else's right to the pursuit of happiness by forcing the public to work even harder into an even earlier mass grave. We don't have the money for that. We need a Perrot to step in and talk about the deficit add infinitum until the public cares again.






*The little bit about "men" is an interesting part of this whole document and I propose a simple amendment to the English language that will solve the whole "crisis" and bring this nation closer to its glorious future. Temen. The Temale gender (the spicier gender). This allows for the universality of "man" to stand for "all" in documents, but without the need to keep saying "he/she" or "men and women." Keep in mind, this is by no means the final version, "tehe" could use some revision, but it's the next step in gender equality. If anyone has any further revisions, I'm open.

Granted, I am still a pacifist and find no act of violence "morally defensible." Even Obama's want to send troops into Afghanistan to find Osama has me weary.

And on the topic of voting, I hate people of my generation (and any generation for that matter) who don't vote and don't talk politics. If you're doing it to be cool and to protest the way things are, apathy doesn't work. In the history of the world apathy never solved anything. Their are six major candidates out there (and even more political parties), one of them has to agree with your views. And really, there's as many candidates as their are people over 35 since anyone can be written in.

You dis-enfranchised people are the whole point of this country. We have a system that lets us say to the government, every two years, shit needs to change and I want to tell you who I think shares my ideas. If you all joined together and decided to vote one way, step up to the plate and really try to make some change instead of saying, "the system's corrupt, I can't make a difference." Then maybe, JUST MAYBE, something might happen. Until then, go out and vote and show the terrorists that our country is as free as we say it is.

As long as this war is being waged in our name (so that Iraq can enjoy the civil liberties we no longer have) I think it's infinitely more important to vote. We are fortunate enough to live in a country that gives us this opportunity to voice our opinions and change things if we think they are unjust.

Remember the Chicago 10. Abbie Hoffman and Jerry Rubin held a party across town from the DNC in Chicago. They were trying to create a free space for people to do whatever they want. People sat around smoking grass, talking about the universe, playing music and having a good time.

Dear Palin,

I approve of your love and commitment to the Alaskan Secessionist Party and don't see it as anti-American at all. I actually see it as the most American ideal that has been brought up in this campaign. You have every right as a human being to rise up against the government that does not properly represent your ideals.

It is high-time that we ended the imperialist tyranny of the U.S. Government, and re-divided this country into more manageable chunks that can take care of themselves. I'm pro-Cascadia, pro-Southern Secession, pro-Alaskan Secessionist Party, Pro-Californians for Independence, Pro-Hawai'i Nation, Pro-The Second Maine Militia, Pro-Republic of New Hampshire, Pro-Middlebury Institute, Pro-Novacadia Alliance and I'm especially Pro-Puerto Rico Independancia.

And that's just a few of the many groups of people who believe that the U.S. Government does not share their views and wish to exercise their right to leave this Union.

Fight the good fight, Palin! Exercise your right to free speech, life, liberty and pursuit of happiness! And smoke a fat joint while you're at it.

Vetting seems boring, but it's a good idea!

So it looks like the sexy librarian is starting to cost McCain his lead.

Well, still no word from Palin as to whether dinosaurs existed, but we do know that she was anointed governor by a witch hunter.

I didn't know there were still people who believe in malevolent witches. I hope he doesn't call in a favor with Palin and start another Salem, MA. on a nation-wide scale. With the power Palin would wield, she'd make the McCarthy hearings look like an episode of Judge Judy.

How to Negate Palin...

I'm mutilating the brilliance of this man's article, but Obama's team really should not overlook this.

"So, to progressive leaders, consider the math: Single women are the biggest voting bloc; they will vote for the Dems 2-1. Increasing their turnout in relation to the overall electorate by 3 points would increase the Democrats' vote by 2 points. In other words, single women would make up 24 percent of the vote share instead of 22 percent, and that could make a big difference. Since overall single women make up 26 percent of total voting-age population, if you do the simple arithmetic, they are the group primed for the biggest growth among progressives and the electorate at large. It's time to reach out and motivate."

To the Right:

Why is it that I'm a pinko leftie communist faggot for thinking that we should not use up a natural resource and try and find sustainable resource for running our society?

Wouldn't it be better to run a car or a train or a plane on something that will never run out? Sunlight never runs out. You can run a home on sunlight and it doesn't cause any harm to the sun. What about a plant that grows faster than we can cut it down? George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin all were major proponents of Hemp. Heck, they wrote the Declaration of Independence on it. It grows like a weed and is easily replenished. Ford made a car that was made almost entirely out of hemp (except the windshield).

I realize that the idea is to find the terrorists and stop them from killing more people, but this step makes their oil worthless. They can't make any money to buy the weapons they need. If we say to them, "hell oil isn't worth a red cent. I wouldn't touch that stuff even if it was growing in my back yard." Wouldn't that be a kick in the teeth?

Imagine if oil companies worked together with car companies. What if oil companies bought car companies and made cars that didn't need oil? Seems a mighty fine solution to the problem. Oil companies get to keep making money around the world.

I'm not against the industrial revolution, quite the contrary, I say we can evolve beyond it. We can make energy free if it's overly abundant. If energy becomes free, then costs can go down and only labor must be paid for. A man's worth will be his own, and isn't that what we all want? Our pay and what we pay will reflect the dollars earned in a more pure sense. Cut out the middle man. Cut out the unnecessary spending of your hard earned cash on something that does not need to be there.

I'm not a chronic pedestrian because I'm afraid of cars, I just don't want to fund terrorism of any kind.

Was she so bored by Farley Mowat's Never Cry Wolf that she decided to eradicate the species from the face of the earth?

Where We're Going We Don't Need Roads

On August 26 the New York Times reported a rather interesting story about Wall Street's sudden interest in buying up the publics roadways. Even though I don't drive, I still think it's a bad idea to pass off our roads to hundreds of businesses who want to turn our country into a network of toll roads.

I'm excited to see that with our country in such an economic crisis due to the steady movement of capital into the hands of big business and out of the hands of the general public, that the perceived solution seems to be "privatize more sectors to increase the burden on the lower class."
